Cluny Museum
About us
The Musée de Cluny houses one of the world's most important collections of objects and works of art from the medieval period.
The museum is housed in the Hôtel de Cluny, a fine example of the architecture of the private mansions built in Paris at the end of the 15th century in the flamboyant Gothic style.
Among other treasures, you can admire the mysterious Lady of the Unicorn, which inspired the historical novel of the same name by the American writer Tracy Chevalier, who also wrote "The Girl with the Pearl".
Please note: the Musée de Cluny is currently undergoing renovation, but it is scheduled to reopen in spring 2022 with a completely renovated museum!
